The teacher handed out a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>colorful booklet about cultivating a growth mindset in your student and being a parent<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>overwhelmed with lots of colorful school information, I didn\u2019t pay too much attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fast forward a couple of years to a grant professionals conference where the keynote speaker,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a veteran in the grants field, was stressing the need for grant pros to continuously access<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>training and professional development. This brought me back to the idea of a growth mindset<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and the importance the grant professionals community places on education and professional<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>development. Grant professionals are aware that keeping our skills fresh and up to date is<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>essential to the many roles we play in helping our clients and organizations thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Boyd Grants, we pride ourselves on cultivating a growth mindset by providing training and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>coaching to our staff and clients. According to GPA, \u201cThe GPC certification is<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>based on rigorous standards and ongoing research to meet real-world demands of grant<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>professionals.\u201d Continuing education is an important component of earning and renewing the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GPC.
